Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts
This program uniquely fuses the art and science of cooking with an introduction to critical business management practices. It can be completed over as few as seven quarters when attending full-time or in as few as 13 quarters when participating on a part-time basis. Students receive rigorous culinary training, leadership skills and the positive, collaborative attitude needed to excel in the foodservice world.
At Kendall, we start with the fundamentals, then incorporate advanced culinary techniques and skills. Students practice what they learn in real-world environments beyond the classroom, including the three Kendall restaurants and through internships.
This program also requires the completion of general education coursework, including composition, foreign languages, computer literacy and the humanities.
